Spring Cleaning

As a class, we have been revisiting the rules and trying to show kindergarten behavior. We have gotten a bit off-track so it's time to slow down and make sure we are thinking about our actions in the classroom, in the hallways and outside at recess.

It's getting warmer outside! Yay! That also means that kids are sweating more when they play. Please make sure you are sending your child with a water bottle. We don't have a drinking fountain in the classroom and taking 20 little ones to the drinking fountain eats up a lot of instruction time.

We will be discontinuing the homework bags. Anything we send home will be for the purpose of extra practice. Unless otherwise noted, extra practice work can stay at home and does not need to be returned. Please contact me directly if you would like to have practice packets sent home every week or every couple weeks.

Keep practicing those sight words and sequencing those numbers! We will continue to build words and read leveled books together.
